Any structure built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. When lead-based paint is chipped, sanded, or scarped into small pieces or dust it can be harmful to children if swallowed or inhaled. 

Haz-Pros, Inc. has the skilled crews to properly remove all lead based building components. Leaded areas can also be enclosed with approved encapsulates that can seal a surface for up to 20 years. Additionally, our crews perform sandblasting to remove lead based paint from bricks, concrete, steel components and wood. Sandblasting is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against surfaces under high pressure to remove lead paint to achieve a smooth surface.
